Product Description |
Sevylor Boat Boot for Sevylor Fish Hunter 12' Fishing Boat. This boot for is an essential part of your personal fishing boat for a lot of reasons... First of all it will make your fishing boat more rigid and stable in the water. Plus it will protect your boat from direct sun in the summer and from abrasions when you brush up against branches or drag it up onto shore. Last but not least, the brown camouflage pattern is just plain cool.
The boot is easy to install too, simply slip the boot around your fishing boat before you inflate and it will snug itself up as you go. Note: There is a negative customer review of the boot (below), but for the life of me I can't figure what this guy could have done wrong to cause the problem he describes. My boot works as advertised and doesn't hinder my boat's performance in any way. It only makes it better.

| Purchased this to go with my Sevylor HF360. The nylon is very strong, and adds a nice extra layer of protection for your Fish Hunter. No problems with it all so far. It does add a few extra min to set up time as you will have to get the boot aligned properly as well as remove and reattach the grab lines. You will also have to fill the #3 chambers before you slip on the boot. Worth the $ in my opinion. |
Don't waste your money

| I bought this under the impression that it would not only increase the rigidity of the boat, but also make it faster, as was stated on the Sevylor website. It did make the boat much more rigid and adds a layer of protection, however the boot has two large drainage holes on the bottom which causes the boot to act like a giant drift sock and severely hinders movement. After pulling the boat back to shore I emptied what must have been about 5 gallons of water from it. Save your money, the boat is rigid and durable enough as is, this will only slow you down. |
