Product Description

Ideal for our personal fishing boat project or for any small boat that doesn't have a battery compartment, the Minn Kota Motor Power Center keeps your battery dry, secure and out of the way while you troll around and fish. The Power Center (battery box) features easy-access external battery terminals that allow you to connect trolling motor leads and charger leads without opening the box. The built-in battery meter displays the current "state of charge" so you will always know how much trolling time you have left. Designed to fit group 24 and 27 size batteries, the Power Center offers two 12-volt accessory plugs and two manual reset circuit breakers: one 15 amp breaker for accessory plugs and one 60 amp breaker for the trolling motor. There's also a handy carrying strap to help you move your battery from the campsite charger to the boat.

Well built abd super sturdy

The battery box is well designed with three carry handles for multiple means to move it around. The plastic case is super durable and strong with plenty of thickness to handle even the largest of batteries. The mounting kit and strap are good and allow for ease of removal when the need arises. The external trolling motor and accessory ports are perfectly located and protected by built in fuses. Worth the few bucks more over the competitions battery boxes.
Great Battery Power Station by MinnKota

The test button is especially helpful to determine the power left in the battery. I use this with a trolling motor on my inflatable boat. The case is solid with a heavy duty handle. The top is held on with a thick strap that snaps together easily with the quick release buckle. The outside terminals make it easy to hook up your DC device or a battery charger without having to remove the battery. Inside connections allow for two DC sockets to be used on the outside.

It's great to have this battery case and power station to take out on the water that is protected from splashes and rain.
